How to Fix Canon iP2770 Orange LED Blinking 16 or 13 Times?


I had been refilling my Canon iP2770 and lately I encountered a problem (after refilling the cartridges) where the orange LED indicator is blinking rapidly for 16 times a cycle. If you happen to also experience this or in other cases 13 times, that means your cartridge is being read as fully consumed. Gladly, buying a new Canon 810 or 811 cartridge is not an option yet. You can still use the old ones and refill it up to its lifespan.

Procedure:
1. While your printer is ON and the cartridges properly replaced, just press the Orange LED button for about 10 seconds until the GREEN power light button flashes.
2. If the orange LED is still blinking after the Green LED flashed, just redo step 1 until only the Green LED is lighted.
3. Your cartridge is now reset and refilling is again possible. Continue printing!
