Directly Root Your Android Phone/Tablet Without the Need for PC (Branded and Cloned)

As to my previous tutorial on How to Root Your Any Android Device, you will need a PC just to root your tablet or cellphones. So, now there is a new installer for Android devices that lets user root their gadget even without connecting it to their desktop or laptop.

Framaroot is a FREE app that enables users to directly root their device by just installing the app and pressing the exploit available for them. If the exploit failed, then they can just redo the process and try another exploits until their device become rooted. The exploits available are from the names in the Lord of the Rings like Frodo, Boromir, Aragorn, Gandalf, etc. Failed rooting processes will not harm the device as the installation will not continue if the rooting says failed. This app will not change anything from your device unless it finally says that rooting is successful. Rooting will install SuperSU binary in your Android device, this is essential in rooted devices. The app can also be used to unroot your device if you no longer want a rooted one.

Now that you are quite ready to root your device, just follow the tutorial and you're good. Disclaimer: I will not be held liable for any problems that may result from using the app. Please try at your own risk.

How to Fix Upside Down HDMI Output in Fusion Bolt (Novo Venus 7)?

Many Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt (Ainol Novo Venus 7) Custom ROMs users have been facing a problem regarding the HDMI output of the tablet. Whenever they connect the tablet for an HDMI output, the screen it projects is sometimes upside down or is sideways. Firomi and Venexus ROMs has this HDMI issue but it can easily be fixed!

To fix the HDMI output issue (do this at your own risk):
1. Download Build Prop Editor. Or if you have root browser or other apps that can access the root of your device, just go to system and find the build.prop file and open it.
2. Find build.prop.hdmi.rotation and add 90 (or 180) to the initial value depending on the problem of the output. If it is upside down, add 180 to the value you find in the file. If it is sideways, add 90 to the original value in the file.
3. Save and the issue is solved!

How to Install ClockWorkMod (CWM) on Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt or Ainol Novo Venus 7?

Recovery Mode is very important to an Android device as it is where we backup or restore the Android system or we want to flash new ROMs or tweaks to our device. We can also wipe dalvik cache, clear our cache and mount devices the easy way.

One advantage of ClockWorkMod is that we get rid of the tedious flashing via Pad Product Tool every time we want to flash something.

Requirements:

Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt or Ainol Novo Venus 7 Tablet
CWM File

Procedure:
1. Download and Copy the CWM File to the internal storage of your Fusion Bolt or Venus 7. No need to extract the zip file.
2. Turn off the tablet and Hold the volume down (-) and power button at the same time until the boot logo appears. Release the power button first then the volume down (-) when a menu appears.
3. Choose Install ZIP from SDCARD and find the CWM File you have transferred earlier. Use the volume (-) or (+) to navigate down or up and the power button to select.
4. Wait for the process to complete and reboot to system.
5. Done! Your recovery mode is now a CWM one. You can redo the process when installing updated CWM.

How to Upgrade/Downgrade/Flash New ROM in your Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt or Ainol Novo Venus 7?

For starters, the Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt is a rebranded Ainol Novo Venus 7 Lite. So, the firmwares (FW) for Venus 7 will work for the Fusion Bolt. If you flash or upgrade your Fusion Bolt to the existing Novo Venus 7 firmwares, you can note the difference in performance and in interface. And I can say that this firmware is way snappier than the stock firmware by Cherry Mobile. This tutorial is updated with the latest firmwares! Excited now?

If you want to familiarize yourself with the specifications of Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt, click here.

Do this at your own risk. I am not responsible if something bad happen in your tablet. But I can assure you that I already done this many times and found success every time. If you encountered problem, just post here and we'll see if we can help. Updated: September 9, 2014

How to Have 2GB Internal Storage in Your Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt or Ainol Novo Venus 7?

Disclaimer: Do this at your own risk. But I assure you that I have tried it many times already and found no problem doing it. This is an easy tutorial and can be done within 5 minutes.
This patch allots additional 1GB internal memory storage in your tablet. This additional space is acquired from the external memory storage. That is, if you have 4GB external storage space and 1GB in internal, after this patch you will have 3GB storage in external and  2GB in internal storage.
Additional memory storage will mean more memory for your apps if you haven't switched your SD card as internal memory. This is so, because in my experience, I wasn't been able to find a tweak to make the SD card as internal memory. If you have the tweak to do this, let me know!

So let's begin!
