Aed-Dloader: Download Directly from Sites with Counters

Aed-Dloader is an application which lets mobile users download files directly from file hosting sites like Mediafire, Rapidshare, 4shared, Megaupload and Plunder. It can also download attached files from the Symbianize.com forum as well as files coming from direct sharing links. It was developed by Aed as for the name, who is an active member of different mobile forums.

It uses the @trick technique in order to bypass charges coming from the network providers here in the Philippines (I think it's also used in other countries). The software is free so as the downloading charges. It's great isn't it?

In case your downloading big files and the progress was interrupted, the software provides you the autoresume function so that you won't need to restart all over. It also saves the last download link in case it failed to download or you may want it for future use.

Supported phones:
· All CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 2.0 mobile phones
· Tested working on Nokia N73, Nokia N70, Nokia 6300, Nokia 6500, Nokia N82, Nokia
· 6682, Nokia 6600, Nokia 6630, Nokia 5310, Nokia 3310, Sony Ericsson K800.

I tested it with my N73 and N70 using Smart and Globe Sim card. As for my experience, downloading speed varies depending on the time period. It can be as fast as 16 kbps and as slow as 2 kbps. A fast proxy can also affect the speed.

How to use it:
1. Download the Aed-Dloader 4.4.5 (.jar) in Softpedia. Direct link (Remove .zip after download). There's a newer version already but it is a modded one. You can try it here Modded by DJ (Remove .zip after download). They only differ with the interface.
2. Install and run Aed-Dloader. Allow it to read and write user data.
3. Type your download link (from MS, MU, RS, 4shared, etc). You can also copy-paste if your phone allows you. By default, the @trick is enabled. So, just press Options and Select Next.
4. Use Smart GPRS/Smart/SmartMMS when it asks to connect to the internet and locate the file. For Globe users, setup a new internet profile with http.globe.com.ph as APN and input this proxy 219.234.81.63 at port 80. Alternative proxies: 62.94.22.204:8080 or 41.221.254.11:80. If the proxies are not working, choose one from here (only those proxies at port 8080 or 80). A page with the filename of your download link will appear together with the @trick to be used (the @trick can be renamed to wap.smart.com.ph, wap.igma.tv). It will save the file in your memory card (E:) by default but you are free to change it to your desired path and your prefered filename. The page will be like this:
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

5. Click Options and download the file. Wait until it completes its process.

I tried downloading from mediafire but an error occured. MF cannot locate the file though I am sure it's there. In megaupload, it connects but the filename is missing only the E:/ appears. Maybe I was trying to download password protected files. It works in 4shared. Haven't tried RS, though. Smart users can install that with no charge but needs maintaining balance below 10php.

Credits to Aed for providing us this free and useful tool. To the modder DJ/The Brothers of Doom. Also to www.Softpedia.com for the download link and for www.PinoyDen.com for the links.

How to Edit Proxies and Ports in Your Cellphones

Some techniques are needed in order to browse for free using OM, UCWEB, Bolt or your default browser and one of this is to know how to edit your proxies and ports. I am familiar with the Nseries. Some phones needs the prov files, you can download and request here if there's no edit options in your phone. I had tried doing this with Nokia 6230 which is an S40 2nd Ed phone and they said it needs prov files. Maybe that time I found my way around and was able to make the prov files manually. ANyway, I had indicated the process for both types. If you are using other brand, it can have a little difference in the process, like the names in the menu, etc.

Make sure you have the default settings for your network. (For Smart: SET fonemodel send to 211 or Globe: GO fonemodel send to 2951 for free) Example: SET N70)

Procedure:
NSeries/S60 phones

1.Go to Tools>Settings>Connection>AccessPoints>Options>New
Select Use existing settings (choose SmartInternet or myGlobe INET)
2. Rename Access Point to say, Smart Net or Globe Net. Any name.
3. Press Options>Advanced Settings
4. Scroll down and you will see the default Proxy serv address and the port. Edit them with the proxy you have to use. Exit and your done. Once you run your phone browser, you can find this profile in the selection of network use.

N6230 likes/S40 phones
Smart users:
Go to Web>Settings>ConnectionSettings>Active web setting
Activate 'empty'. Then go to Edit web settings. Rename it.
homepage: http://wap.smart.com.ph
Enable proxies.
Primary proxy: edit with the proxy you have
Port: edit with the port you have
Data bearer: GPRS
Go to Bearer settings.
GPRS access point: internet
Authentication type: Normal

Globe users:
Go to Web>Settings>ConnectionSettings>Active web setting
Activate 'empty'. Then go to Edit web settings. Rename it.
homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
Enable proxies.
Primary proxy: edit with the proxy you have
Port: edit with the port you have
Data bearer: GPRS
Go to Bearer settings.
GPRS access point: http.globe.com.ph
Authentication type: Normal

Whenever you run your browser, it will automatically be the default one. In case you need to activate your original default profile, just go to Web>Settings>ConnectionSettings>Active web setting and Activate your default myglobe or Smart one.

Know the default settings of your internet profiles.

FREE Internet Using CP as Modem

GLOBE users only.
Free internet using cellphone as modem! I don't know how long it's been up, I just recognized it today.
I knew that I only have 20 pesos in my account. And to my surprise, I was able to use the internet for more than 4 hours, I checked my balance and it's zero already. Then, I tried to connect again and voila I am in. Browsing with no load!

Here's how to do it, with no trick whatsoever:
Must have:

1. Cellphones that can be used as modem i.e. N-series, 3G phones
2. PC Suite for your mobile brand. As for me, I am using N73 and Nokia PC Suite (Link).
3. IE, Opera, Firefox, any browser.

Procedure:

1. Open PC Suite.
2. Connect your cellphone (via Bluetooth or Cable) and wait for PC Suite to recognize your phone.
3. Click "Connect to Internet" icon on the PC Suite startup page.
4. While it's doing the autoconnect function, click the "Configure" icon (the wrench at the lower portion).
5. Click Next. Tick "Configure Connection Manually" and hit Next. Input http.globe.com.ph under Access point. Leave the rest blank and click finish.
6. Click Connect (the icon at left of configure).
7. Open your browser and go to your favorite websites.

I don't know how long it will last. But grab it while it's there. Browsing using mobile is also free. Just configure your myGlobe Connect or Inet profiles and delete the proxies and ports. It works even with built-in browser.

UPDATE: Free internet has ended on April 13. So this doesn't work anymore. Back to using tricks. Free Browsing Using Tricks

Modded Mobile Applications (Working on Smart and Globe)

The included modded applications in this post are from the different forums and the credits go to the respective authors. In case I violated something, just inform me and I will edit this. This is the result of my continuous reading as well as testing of the applications so I can assure you that they are fully working (except for the streaming function). The apps will let users use the service free of charge. What I can’t indicate is the supported phone models and platforms. I had tried and installed them on N73 which is an S60 v30 and supports Java applications. Just try to download and install them and check the results. All are in jar format and can be downloaded directly. The links are credited to those who have uploaded them.

In case you don't know how to edit your proxies, go to
How to Edit proxies and ports in Your Cellphones or Download .prov files (S40 users) You can also request GPRS settings from (Smart: SET fonemodel send to 211 or Globe: GO fonemodel send to 2951 for free)

Phone Browsers:
Opera Mini 3.10 Mod
Download OM3.10 (link by Aquared)
-For Globe and Smart users.
Globe Create a new internet profile with the following values:
APN: http.globe.com.ph
No proxy and no port
Smart Create a new internet profile with the following values in your connection settings:
APN: internet
Proxy: 190.129.10.245
port: 80
Open OM 3.12 and press #8 and enter the values below at OM Server:
http://clickhere.ph/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/011110A/http/94.246.126.253:80
-can edit download links which enable users to use the @trick (at the moment downloading is not possible). Whenever you want to download a file, insert the any of the following after the http://
wap.igma.tv@wap.igma.tv@
ph.m.yahoo.com@ph.m.yahoo.com@
wapx.amob.com@wapx.amob.com@
wapx.amob.com@
ph.m.yahoo.com@
Example: http://wap.igma.tv@wap.igma.tv@www.airmp3.com
-Can upload files (i.e. photos in friendster, multiply)
-browsing in mobile view
-multi-window browsing so you can simultaneously download and surf
-can copy-paste in editor
-not working on Smart since the server.operamini.com:80 is already blocked. Needs numerical server
-Can install even with zero balance.
Install and use the profile you created above when asked.

Opera Mini 4.2 for Globe by Euanity
Download OM4.2 for Globe
-for Globe users only. Create a new internet profile with the following values:
APN: http.globe.com.ph
No proxy and no port
OR use the server4.operamini.com proxy at port 80
-Desktop view surfing
-Can Download jar files ONLY. After download, OM closes, need to open OM again.
-Can upload files (i.e. photos in friendster, multiply)
-Can install even with zero balance.
Install and use the profile you created above when asked.

Opera Mini 4.2 Smart by Euanity
Download OM 4.2 Smart
-Working for Smart.
-Create an internet profile with the following values:
APN: internet
Proxy: 190.129.10.245 (from rhoncris.tk)
Port 80
-Maintain at most 9 pesos to use this app.
-Browsing and uploading only. Downloading jar files only.

Opera Mini 4.2 Multi-Mod/Multi-Op by Aquared
Download OM Multi-Op
-Applicable for both Smart and Globe.
-The procedure is posted here (esato). Just change the free site (accdng. to network) and the server. I used this value for Globe server: wapx.amob.com.server4.operamini.com:80 or m.olx.ph@server4.operamini.com:80. Use the default myGlobe CONNECT.
Working server for Smart:
http://clickhere.ph/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/011110A/http/94.246.126.253:80
APN: internet
Proxy: 90.129.10.245 (from rhoncris.tk)
Port: 80
-This enables users to configure their servers (similar to 3.10 and 2.06). But it can't edit the download URL so using @trick or (dot)trick is not possible.
-Desktop view surfing
-Downloads redirects to phone browser but can still download. After download, OM closes, need to open OM again. Can upload files (i.e. photos in friendster, multiply)
-Can install even with zero balance for Globe and below 9 pesos for Smart. Smart users need to maintain at least one peso load.

Opera Mini 5 beta by Litemint
Download OM 5 for Globe
Download OM 5 for Smart
-This version doesnt work with most phones. I had tried this with s40 phone and it won't install so, I haven't experienced it working. But be hopeful since this is just the first release of its beta stage.
-Smart users: Create a new internet profile with
Proxy: 190.129.10.245
Port: 80
-Globe users: Use the default myGlobe inet or the one with no proxy and port.

To download files in OM 4.2 any mod, insert
wap.igmat.tv.t9space.com/power/s/http/ after the http://
example: if you are downloading http://www.geocities.com/blahblah, to make your download, it should be like this http://wap.igmat.tv.t9space.com/power/s/http/www.geocities.com/blahblah
I have tried to download mp3 and other files, but it failed. When you reached the white page with the Save and Open options, only the Open option will work and not the Save function. (Did I not confuse you? hehe)

Bolt 0.86 Mod by Thor
Download Bolt 0.86
-Working on Globe. Create a profile with the following values:
APN: http.globe.com.ph or www.globe.com.ph
Proxy: 148.233.159.58 port 80. If the proxies are not working, choose one from here (only those with port 8080 or 80)
-Desktop view surfing. Better than OM 4.2s
-Built-in video streaming.
-No downloading function.
-Actually, there’s a new version, but I haven’t tried it. And the feedbacks for this is not so good at the moment. I’ll update later.
-Important: Disable the HTTPS function in the settings to be able to log-in to your forums and accounts.
-Will install even with zero balance. Maintain that amount to make the app work.
Install and use the profile you created above when asked.

UCWEB 6.5 by Rhoncris
Download UCWEB 6.5
-Working for Globe.
Globe-Create a new profile with these values:
APN: http.globe.com.ph
No port and proxy. You can also use this proxy 148.233.159.58 at port 80. If the proxy is dead already, choose from this site (only those at port 8080 and 80)
-Mobile view even if you click the HTML function.
-Multiwindow browsing so you can simultaneously download and surf
-Has download manager. If your dloading a file, you will encounter the 3 squares in the dload manager. The 1st square stands for OPEN, next is the SAVE, 3rd one is the CANCEL. I suggest you always use the SAVE. Downloading is fast. On my experience, 11-20 kbps. Depends on the time and network.
-Webpages are divided into parts so you have to click next everytime.
-Will install even with zero balance for Globe. Maintain that amount to make the app work.
Install and use the profile you created above when asked. An error message that the network connection failed will appear after the install. Go to Menu>Settings>General Settings>Check Shadow Connection and Save. Exit and run UCWEB again. If you don't receive the error 8 page, try changing between Phone UA and Opera to make it work in the Menu>Settings>Gen Settings.
Try again.
-You will know that you have successfully installed it with working internet connection if you got the homepage with search bar, recommended, social and videos, etc. Sometimes you will have the chinese page.
