Trick on How to Bypass Globe's 1GB Limit on Bandwidth Usage Without Throttling to 2G?

All Globe users who availed of the unlimited data plan with the telecom company are all frustrated with the 1GB everyday bandwidth limit. That's why it is called unli internet because it was supposed to give users the unlimited surfing experience especially in downloading. But under Globe's Fair Usage Policy, once you have consumed all your 1GB allocation, your internet connection speed will be reverted to 2G (which is way SLOW) and you have to wait until midnight to regain your net's speed. But users cannot be suppressed, they had a workaround in this setup. Downloading and surfing is now unlimited! I had used the trick and I am quite satisfied that I no longer receive notice of 2G throttling from Globe even if I download big files or stream videos all day!  Updated February 12, 2016. Proxifier is still working for some users, you only have to use the CDC method to connect. Psiphon is working using default MyGlobe Internet settings, just scroll down.

The trick to bypass the limit is quite easy is to use. I am doing this under my Globe Postpaid Unlimited Internet for Php999/month and I haven't been notified of any violation in their terms nor being billed for extra charges. It uses MyGlobe Connect settings instead of the Globe Postpaid settings. Please note that the difference between the two is their APNs, MyGlobe Connect uses the APN:www.globe.com.ph while the Globe Postpaid uses APN:internet.globe.com.ph. For prepaid users, the default connection settings is Globe Prepaid with APN:http.globe.com.ph

You need to download:
Proxifier 3.0 - Mirror Download

Procedure:
1. If you are using Smartbro or Suncellular broadband stick, you might want to openline it to be able to proceed with this tutorial (How to Openline Your Broadband Stick). Connect your MyGlobe Tattoo Stick (or Tattoo Superstick Mobile Wifi in my case) to your laptop/computer then go to your Globe Tattoo Dashboard and create a new profile. You can do this by going to Settings} Dial-Up} Profile Management} New Profile} and input the following details:
Profile Name: myGlobe Connect
APN : www.globe.com.ph
PAP or CHAP
The installers above are for computer use only. This is just to bypass the capping in your phone and not for FREE internet access, so make sure that you are enrolled to a certain globe promo or you are in a postpaid plan. Different broadband sticks have different GUIs so please refer to your modem's manual for instructions on how to access its settings. For mobile phone users, please see bottom of post for detailed instructions.

2. Connect your Tattoo stick or phone to the internet.
3. Extract the file that you downloaded above (Proxifier.rar | Mirror Proxifier). Run Proxifier.exe. No more tweaks needed in this. Just let it do its work.

4. Open your browser and start surfing your favorite sites. It will be better if you have IDM Internet Download Manager for more convenience.


How to Run Proxifier in 64-bit Engine?
If your PC or laptop is running in 64-bit system, please make the necessary changes to the Proxification Engine as follows:
1. Go to Profile} Advanced} Proxification Engine.
2. Click the 64-bit subsystem and create this setup:
Intercept network calls at: Winsock Library
Hook Type: Function Prologue Copy (can also be Module)

 3. Hit OK then start surfing the internet using your web browsers.

Note: 
*Please don't exit the Proxifier when using the internet. Also, don't open lots of tabs while browsing, keep it up to 5 tabs only for it will slow your computer's response time. If your computer is slowing down, just clear the Proxifier GUI or close it and run again. 
*It will be better if you use this for downloading or streaming only because the speed when surfing websites is slower than normal; but the speed for downloading is faster.

If the above setup fails, make the APN: http.globe.com.ph and try using the Proxifier again. There are new Globe SIMs which are not capable of connecting to the internet using MyGlobe Connect and causing error in Proxifier to run properly. 

Update February 12, 2016- Psiphon for desktop/Android is working.
For Android users, you can still use PSIPHON. Just update your PSIPHON app to the latest version and use the default MyGlobe Internet settings. Tunnel whole device and use the server US or UK.
Download latest PSIPHON here. For more detailed instructions, just scroll down (Prepaid Users). It can be used for Clash of Clan (CoC). 
Desktop version download here. Working using with the default MyGlobe Internet settings, for pocket wifi and broadband stick. 
Make sure that you are connected to the IPs (10.116 to 10.119 or 100.102 to 100.111).

How to Connect Your Phone/Tablet to Your Wifi Using the Above Setup?
As I have mentioned earlier, Proxifier is exclusive for computer/laptop. So, what if you have a family member who wants to connect to your Wifi connection but is unable to do so because they cannot use Proxifier in their phones/tabs. Since your Wifi Settings is using MyGlobe Connect, your handheld devices may fail access to the internet. So, here is the workaround:
1. Once the phone/tab is already connected to your Wifi, go to your phone/tab's settings} Wifi} then long press the name of your Wifi to modify network config.
2. Then choose Advance Option} set Proxy to manual} then input the following:
Proxy Host: 203.177.42.214
Port: 8080
3. Hit Save and retry accessing the web. You should now be able to access the internet.

How to Download via muTorrent Without Throttling?
You will NOT need to run the Proxifier here. But you will need the portable muTorrent, download muTorrent here | mirror muTorrent.
You have to get a connection with peers using the default Globe Postpaid or MyGlobe Internet settings and then stop once a connection is established (disconnect the internet connection and stop the muTorrent download) then edit the muTorrent settings as follows:

1. Go to Options} Preferences} Connections}
2. Enable proxy server. Input the following:

• Type: HTTPS 
• Proxy: 203.177.42.214 
• Port 8080
  Tick Authentication. 
• Username: globe 
• Password:globe

3. Then connect again to the internet but this time use the MyGlobe Connect settings (the one with APN: www.globe.com.ph)

This trick will bypass Globe's throttling to 2G especially when you are downloading from torrents. It will not give the FUP notice even if your download is above 1GB already.

Now, you can browse, use torrents and download without monitoring your bandwidth usage!

For Mobile Phone and Tablet Users
If you are using an Android phone or tablet, you can try this trick to NOT be under Globe's FUP. As requested.

Option 1: (Working as of December 30, 2015)
Postpaid and Prepaid User 
Bonus: FREE Internet Access for Prepaid Users
This part requires that your Android phone or tablet is rooted (if running on older versions below 4.0 like Froyo, Ice Cream Sandwich, Gingerbread etc.) and will use PSIPHON to tunnel your device which is the same way Proxifier works. You can check the version of your Android device by going to Settings} About. To directly root your device without computer, follow the tutorial here.
Now, download PSIPHON here | Mirror | PSIPHON v59
1. In your android phone's connection setting, make MyGlobe Connect as default APN when connecting to the internet. If your phone is GPRS activated already, Globe usually send this configuration along with the MMS settings so for sure, you have them in your phone's network setting. If you want to manually input it, the values are:
Name: MyGlobe Connect
APN: www.globe.com.ph
Proxy: 203.177.42.214 
Port: 8080
^If the above setting fails, you still have two options to make it work. Instead of using the default settings from Globe, you can manually create a new Access Point with the following setup:
1. Name: Globe PSIPHON
APN: http.globe.com.ph
Proxy: 195.189.142.132 This is also an Opera Mini Server
Port: 80
Authentication type: PAP or CHAP
2. Name: Globe PSIPHON2
APN: http.globe.com.ph
Proxy: 198.41.212.185 
Port: 80
Authentication type: PAP or CHAP

If you are using the earlier version of PSIPHON (v59), the settings will be:
APN Name: Myglobe No Proxy
APN: http.globe.com.ph
No Proxy and Port

2. Install the PSIPHON apk that you downloaded above (PSIPHON | Mirror | PSIPHON v59) and run it. Then make the following settings under the Options tab:

Select Region: UK (you can also choose Japan, Netherlands or Singapore)
(Check) Tunnel Device
(Check) Connect through an HTTP Proxy
(Check) Use the following settings: (see screenshot above)
----- 203.177.42.214
---- 8080

If you are using the earlier version of PSIPHON (v59), the settings will be:
Select Region: Singapore or US
(Check) Tunnel Whole Device
(Check) Connect through HTTP Proxy
(Check) Use system network settings

3. Then start Connection and wait until it successfully connects (the P icon will turn BLUE once successful).

You can now browse the internet, download torrents, and stream videos without the 800MB capping!

*Do not exit the app when accessing to the internet. If the settings fail, just do a combination of the existing settings, like using the Option 1 setting and the 94.70.255.223 proxy in the PSIPHON setup. As a user stated below, if you are using a pocket wifi connecting two devices like laptop and a tablet with no SIM slot, just use Proxifier with the laptop and PSIPHON with the tablet. 


Option 2 - Not Working
Prepaid Users
Do this around 8-9 AM.
1. Register to unli tingi by sending GT5 to 8888. This promo is an unlimited call, text and internet for one hour. So, grab it to make downloads of big files like movies, programs, etc. but don't use it for torrents first.
2. After 1 hour, GT5 will expire, then register to SUPERSURF50/BBMAX50/GOtscomboAE47 (any of these three promos will do) by sending the code to 8888. This trick will surely give you an unlimited internet without being throttled even if you already reached 800MB data usage.
**Note: If you want to avail longer validity promos such as those that last for 2 or more days (i.e. SUPERSURF200, BBMAX599), make sure that you register that promo 30 mins before GT5 expires.

Option 3 
Go to this post regarding UNli Internet Even Without Load and follow the instructions. It also works with Smart and SUN networks.

This works best using UCWEB or Opera Mini browser.
